How to Save Money on Dryer Sheets

by Shawanda Greene

Reusable dryer sheets by ClyDaz-E & CrewForty years ago, we did not use dryer sheets in our laundry – hard to believe isn’t it? You can cut back your dryer sheet usage several ways:

• Experiment with cutting your dryer sheets into smaller pieces. Many people can use as little as a quarter of a sheet per load.

• Make your own dryer sheets: pour 1 tablespoon of liquid fabric softener on a washcloth or small dishcloth and use the way you would a commercial dryer sheet.

• If you live in a dorm or use a laundromat, try using the sheets discarded by others – many of them have another use left in them!
