Well, it’s hard for me to publicly say what I’m gonna cook when I have zero intentions of cooking anything. In the last month or so, I’ve fired up my oven exactly once. I might’ve made some grits. Wait. Nope. Those were microwaved. Doesn’t count as cooking.
Anyhoo, I’m back on the menu planning bandwagon. As I’m sure you’re aware, eating out every day is expensive. And right now, I can’t afford the privilege.
This week, I’m focused on cooking the food I’ve already purchased. Which should really be the case every week.
Monday: Slow Cooker Chuck Roast, Potatoes, Onions and Rice & Mixed Veggies (Broccoli, Cauliflower and Carrots)
Tuesday: Country Style Ribs, Onions, Potatoes with Mixed Veggies
Wednesday: Slow Cooker Shredded Chicken Seasoned with McCormick Grill Mates: Garlic, Herb & Wine Marinade with Black Beans and Rice
Thursday: Fried Swai Breaded with Louisiana New Orleans Style Fish Fry and French Fries
Friday: Cafe Asia Happy Hour (If you’re in the DC area, feel free to join me around 4:30ish. I’ll be at the one in Arlington.)
Sunday: Spaghetti and Meat Sauce
