Over the last few days, you may have noticed a couple small changes to the ol’ blog.
You’re probably saying, “It looked better before. Change it back.” To that I say, “No.” I’m not done tweaking the layout and design yet.
In the meantime, you’re still gonna read my blog, AND you’re gonna like it (pretty please).
Unfortunately, the two little women who currently grace my header have to go. They’ll be sorely missed. *tearfully chokes up and sputters* :’(
Here’s where I need your help.
I’m running a logo design contest for You Have More Than You Think on 99 Designs. Besides being completely awesome, the right logo must be versatile. Not only will it serve as my header image, but I’ll use it on my Facebook fan page, my Twitter background, baseball caps, coffee mugs, tote bags, tank tops, and what not.
This new logo will get around. It has to travel well.
Below are the top contenders so far. Please review and rank.
Give me your honest opinion.
Really.
I mean it.
Don’t hold back.
The contest is open for about 3 2 more days, so it’d be great if you could share your ideas on what would make an amazing logo.

I spent a lot of time on SmartyPig last night setting up 2012 goals… so to me, they all look like SmartyPig. :/
Well, I really like your current header. It sets your blog a part from everyone else's blog. I agree that the pig is universal, which graces my book's, "How We Prevent Wealth" cover, so well (selfish plug), but your current header immediately lets people know that they will find a blog with character and humor. And that's it's about money. None of the current designs show this distinction.
I know. I know. It's just my opinion. But I'm sure that people are more willing to purchase a t-shirt with your current logo than one of the above pigs. The pigs speak too much of, hey, I'm a financial dork. Turn one of your black ladies to white, and add an asian, and you'll find yourself with a universal, hard to look away because I want to find out more, stand-up, well recognized image. Just saying.
BTW, 99 Designs is great. Exactly who I used for my book's cover.
You know. I really appreciate the thoughtful comment. As if I didn't have enough to do already, now I have to figure out how to integrate my two little women plus a third into a new design. A financial dork's work is never completed.
I like your current one as well!
My favorite from the choices is the top one (with the money sign on the forehead).
Good luck in choosing!
I'm really thrown off by the different capitalizations in each of the designs. I like the green pig best of all the images, but I don't love any of the fonts.
Wow, I'm a negative Nancy today! I love your current header, so it's hard for me to imagine something new. But I do understand the need to have something YOU love. I used 99designs for my logo and I was very pleased with the end result.
Shawanda, I like the one you have I think the girl is so cute!
Good luck making a difficult decision – I voted and I hope the feedback helps.
Threw my vote in also, though I liked your previous decision. Change is good too.
I love the green pig too. It's a really nice use of colour–but isn't too hard on the eyes! It's so much fun to change it up now and then. Good luck in your search
