10 No-Sew, T-Shirt Scarves You Can Make at Home

by Shawanda Greene on September 19, 2012

If your wardrobe budget is tight, don’t fret.

Stretch your pennies by falling back on a rarely used, natural-born gift: Good ol’ fashioned creativity. I said don’t fret, dammit!

You don’t have to depend on your own artistic skills. God invented Pinterest so that you can steal ideas from the fashionably gifted.

A variety of accessories can spice up a drab outfit, but we’ll only focus on scarves today. (Primarily because I don’t understand how retailers get away with charging $32 for a large scrap of cloth. I mean, that’s like an entire sweater.)

I combed the web for hours (avoided more meaningful work) in search of scarves you can make at home using little more than a t-shirt and a pair of scissors.

If you possess the motor skills of a 5-year old, then you can recreate these looks.

Pinterest is amazing! And perfect for all kinds of DIY projects (decorations, re-done clothes, beauty products, cleaning supplies) It really is crazy how much money you can save on buying things at the store that you can make yourself for the fraction of the price. I like the one from MeiJo’s Joy above! Very cool.
